50th Wedding Anniversary

Michael and Nora Hanley, Urhan, Beara, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on the 3rd Feb. last.  A special Mass was celebrated by Fr. Mulvihill and Fr. Sean O'Shea at Eyeries Church.  Among those present were Michael's sister Theresa, Nora's brother Michael and their bridesmaid Tess Lowney.  They were also joined by their son Jimmy, and daughters Mary, Ann and Noreen and their families.  The readings were done by their grandchildren Barry and Noreen Hanley.  Prayers of the Faithful were read by Emma, Liam, Jane and Kieran  Hanley and family and friends brought up the gifts. 

Following the Mass, the party adjourned to the Urhan Inn where Pat Holland provided musical entertainment for the night.  The sing song and dancing went on well into the night and the wee hours of the following day and a great night was had by all.
