70 YEARS YOUNG

On Friday night last (23rd March) in Twomey's Ivy Bar, Castletownbere, family and friends of Patrick Harrington, Knockoura, Castletownbere, gathered from far and near, to wish him a very happy 70th Birthday.  Most of the family travelled from Engalnd, some from Dublin and Cork and his nephew Noel from Rhode Island.   Musical entertainment was provided on the night by Clover and the food was prepared by niece Liz and her husband Bob.  A great night was had by all and new and old acquaintenances re-kindled.

Extended family with Noel's Fiance Helen (on left) and Marian's Husband "Spud" (behind) and grandson Andrew and Margaret's boyfriend Mike. His other grandchildren, James, aged 7, Niamh, aged 22 months and Patrick aged 5 months were were unable to be at the celebration on the night.
