80th Birthday Celebrations

Evelyn Martin-Sullivan, Castletownbere, celebrated her 80th Birthday over the week-end with her family at a celebration meal in Niki's Restaurant. Her six children, their spouses and 16 of her 19 grandchildren all attended.  Her eldest grandchild Aisling, who is presently holidaying in Australia, telephoned her to pass on her best wishes following the meal.  Stephen, who was working in Cork during the day, joined the celebrations later on that night and Rachel who was visiting friends in Limerick, returns today to pass on her congratulations. 

All later adjourned to the family home where a reminiscent night was had of times past and partying went on into the wee hours of the morning.
