Plaque erected at Barnes Gap

The people of Allihies, Cahermore and Garnish erected a inscribed plaque at Barnes Gap this morning to mark the Millennium.  Fr. Liam Comer who officiated at the ceremony welcomed everyone who attended and thanked all those who made it possible.

Following the harsh weather of the previous days, the morning was blessed with glorious sunshine.
