Garnishman Donal F. Kelly, a 62 year farmer, was recently awarded the coveted Paddy Fitzgerald Memorial Award 2000 in recognition for his contribution to farming, rural and local development over the past 30 years.  Donal, current Co-Treasurer of the Beara Action Group, was thrilled to received this top IFA Award, presented to him by IFA President Tom Parlon in Adare, Co. Limerick where the ceremony took place.  He was one of nine finalists, nominated from all over Munster. Donal was accompanied by all his family, his wife Mary, his four daughters and son, whom he paid tribute to for all their support and assistance over the years.
