Latest Addition to Castletownbere Fishing Fleet

M.F.V. 'Sparkling Star' docking at Dinish Pier

Donal & Peggy O'Neill, Gour, Castletownbere, have become the proud new owners of the latest addition to the Castletownbere Fishing Fleet.  The 32 Metre,  M.F.V. 'Sparkling Star', purchased in Scotland replaces their existing vessel, the M.F.V. 'Dermot Anne'.  Donal started out 15 years ago in a half-decker and has successfully worked his way up to his current boat, which is a credit to him and his crew.  We wish Donal and Peggy, their family and crew, bountiful rewards and safety at sea at all times.
