Beara Gym.

Beara New Image Health & Fitness Club announces their Autumn Schedule of Fitness Classes this week.  The recently opened gymnasium - the first of its kind in the Beara Peninsula, is located in the old St. Joseph's Secondary School, beside the Old Convent - now Beara Lodge Hostel - is managed by Pam McQuaid, who will set out your own personal fitness regime as a member.  The Gymnasium is fully with 25 workstations - treadmills, bicycles, steppers, cross trainers, rowing machines etc.  There is also a sauna located there.

The Autumn Classes - for both Men and Women - commence on Monday 11th Sept. and will include the following:

Monday Nights - Circuit Training - Individual Exercise Stations let you work at your own pace for overall fitness training.  How hard you wish to work is entirely up to you.

Tuesday Nights: - Toning - Gentle but effective exercises to tone your muscles, emphasizing tummy, hips and thighs. 

Wednesday Nights:  -  Step Aerobics - Aerobics using step platform to improve cardiovascular fitness and tone your legs.
