Castletownbere Festival of the Sea 2000

Plans are well advanced for this year's Festival to be held from 5th  to 12th August incl.  Some of the bands lined up are Dublin City Ramblers, Cork City Jazz Band, Remix and by popular demand the 103FM County Sound Roadshow who will provide free outdoor entertainment in the Square.

Many more events are also being planned as well as publishing a Festival Brochure.  The cost of producing this Festival is borne by the local businesses and suppliers in Beara to whom the committee wish to thank.  In return for their contribution, they will be included in the Brochure, which is used widely as a local telephone directory after the event.  Any Business or Service who wish to contribute and be included in this brochure must contact a member of the committee by Friday 14th July as it will be going to print to have it in circulation well in advance of the Festival.  You can visit the organisers Web Page on this site by going to the 'Community Orgs' at the side and clicking on the Castletownbere Business Development Association.  Contact names and telephone numbers are available there.
