The Highlight of the afternoon was the Senior Gig Race Sponsored by Lawrence O'Rourke, Bere Island with a prize fund of £1,200 Castletownbere were again the victors - for the 4th consecutive year.

Winner of <50' went to Johnny Power for his vessel MFV 'Janet Ann' who was unable to receive his prize at the prizegiving yesterday as he was at sea. He will be presented with it at a later date.
