Sponsored Cycle

Jer O'Mahony and Lisa White from AIB Bank, Castletownbere are again planning another sponsored cycle. This year, the 'Beara Millennium Cycle' will be in the form of 100 miles over the week-end of 12/13 August.  Last year, the raised £3,000 for the beneficiaries CoAction Beara and the R.N.L.I.  This was primarily thanks to the generosity of the people and businesses of the Beara Region.

Jer and Lisa are at present sending out letters to the local businesses to gather sponsorship.  Sponsorship Cards will be distributed in many local shops and bars.  They anticipate a great response.  Both charities play a major role in the life of Beara People.

Jer and Lisa would be delighted to receive any help from locals and would especially welcome anyone willing to cycle a few miles either day with them.  Donations would be delightfully accepted at AIB Bank, Castletownbere.  If any of you are reading this from overseas, we would be delighted to receive any donation via the post to 'Jer/Lisa Friends of CoAction and the R.N.L.I.', AIB Bank, Castletownbere, Co.
