'Small Change - that make a Big Change' in Lodwar

35 cyclists turned out to cycle to Bantry from Castletownbere to raise funds for Bishop Patrick Harrington's Diocese in Kenya - led by Barry Harrington, Castletownbere - brother to the Bishop.  This is the second such cycle for this great cause. Previous story can be read here.

There are now 40 Turkana teenagers in St. Luke's Home for deaf and dumb children - in the middle of the desert.  This is the first development of its kind in such an area in Africa.  It all started last year with such great support and now this year, they can furnish the home with essentials such as beds, kitchen equipment etc. etc.  An account was opened in AIB Castletownbere last year for this cause - the a/c no. is 10904001.  Sort Code for the Bank is 93-62-78.  All donations are greatly received and appreciated.
