CINEMOBILE
IRELAND'S TRAVELLING CINEMA

Although Ireland has a tradition of travelling theatre, travelling cinema is a first. People living in many rural parts of the country with no direct access to the cinema will benefit from this project financed by the Millennium Fund. The 100-seater mobile cinema is travelling throughout Ireland at the moment, showing films for young and old and will be in the Square, Castletownbere on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 12-14th August 2002.  This will be the Cinema's third visit to the area and its popularity was such that the time is being extended by an extra day during the next visit.
