Harriet Cross - Young Athlete

Harriet Cross - one of Beara's fine athletes - pictured above after accepting her silver medal at the Indoor All Ireland Athletics Championship held in Nenagh recently, she took a silver medal in under 13. 60 Mts. sprint and bronze in the long jump and was 6th overal in the Country in the High Jump.  

The week previous her excellent performance in the Munster Indoor Athletics Championships, also held in Nenagh, winning Gold medals in the Under 13's 60 meter sprint and the high jump and a bronze in the long jump.  She went on to represent Beara in the All Ireland Final in Nenagh on the 6th & 7th of April.- above
