Michael Noonan Visits Beara

As part of the Election Campaign 2002, Michael Noonan, leader of Fine Gael, paid a brief visit to Castletownbere last month where he met with various people, including representatives of the Fishing Community.  Local Councillor Noel Harrington plus Fine Gael activists met Mr. Noonan on his arrival.

He was accompanied by the two outgoing Fine Gael deputies, namely Jim O'Keefe, Bandon and P.J. Sheehan, Goleen

The polling date is set for Friday, 17th May - with the times extended from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.
