P.J. & Catherine Marries

The Church of the Sacred Heart in Castletownbere was decked with beautiful floral bouquets and filled to capacity to witness the wedding ceremony of P.J. Vincie O'Sullivan, Castletownbere and Catherine Spalinger.  Catherine was 'given away' by her mother Anita to P.J., eldest son of Vince & Margaret O'Sullivan Foildarrig.  She looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful dress as did the groom in his top hat and tails.  Catherine was attended to by her friend Paula Tim O'Sullivan and P.J.'s sister Katie and P.J. was 'looked after' by his brother Vincie Oliver and his friend John Robert O'Sullivan - who  also looked splended in their gear - I might add.  Following the ceremony, the Bride and Groom headed to their wedding reception in the Riversdale Hotel, Kenmare in style - in the cab of one of P.J.'s articulated trucks - bedecked in style for the occasion - definitely a first for a Beara wedding.  We wish them both long lives of happiness, health and prosperity.
