Sponsored Parachute Jump

On March 2nd and 3rd next - 16 ladies and men will partake in a parachute jump - with the monies raised going towards the Aidan Con O'Sullivan Trust Fund.  Joseph Blake, from Adrigole is the main organiser of this event along with Colman Frank O'Sullivan, Eyeries and Maurice Moore from Rosscarbery.  They have brought together 16 people who are willing to do this jump at Co. Offaly.

The group consists of: Joseph Blake, Adrigole, Barry Murphy (sponsored by his own pub in Bantry) Nicola O'Regan from Castletownbere, Lisa Rua O'Sullivan from Garnish (sponsored by Kevin O'Neill's Bar & Restaurant, Allihies), Cork Footballers, Philip Clifford, Bantry, Maurice Moore, Rosscarbery,  Nicholas Murphy and Brian Sullivan, Ilen Rovers, Owen Sexton, Graham Canty, Bantry, Tadgh Deasy, Caheragh and Carbery, Jamsie O'Shea, Cork and Bishopstown, Jeremy Murphy from Rosscarbery, well known Cork Football Supporter, Cyril Kavanagh (Bird), Paul O'Rourke from the Washington Inn and Derbhla O'Sullivan from County Sound Radio.  Some have been sponsored already and others are still seeking sponsorship for this daring event.
