As
part of the Aidan Con O’Sullivan Trust Fund Activities, an event was held
recently in the Westlodge Hotel, Bantry, to select two girls to represent West
Cork and the Aidan Con O’Sullivan Trust Fund in the upcoming heat for the Cork

before the Judges, representing each of the Main Sponsors – McGurn

Rose of Tralee Committee, the Kerry Festival Committee and 103 FM County Sound
picked the two winners. They were
Julie O’Sullivan, Eyeries, who was sponsored by Manning Cleaning Services as
the Aidan Con O’Sullivan Trust Fund Representative and Laura O’Sullivan,
Bantry, sponsored by the Bantry Bay Hotel, as the West Cork Representative.
Each contestant received a Cork Crystal memento, sponsored by Murphy’s

Australia, also attended on the night. The
winners received cheques for €200, a Ryanhart Sculpture, sponsored by Jimmy

For the final in Cork, each contestant will be kitted out for the
occasion by Havanna Boutique Cork plus have all their hair and make-up needs
