Beara Rose - Proceeds to DayCare Centre

Following the very successful Beara Rose Selection held during St.Patrick's Weekend - proceeds amounting to 6,800 Euro were raised for the very worthy cause of the Castletownbere Day Care Centre - catering for the needs for the elderly throughout Beara.

A Cheque was recently presented to Fr. Sean O'Shea and Phil Murphy by the committee, comprising of Chairman, Colman Frank O'Sullivan, Secretaries Mary Martin-Sullivan and Carol Manning, Treasurers Seamus Harrington and Patrick G. Murphy and very hard working committee members Dawn Minehane and Paudie Bernie O'Sullivan.
