Dear Member,

120 letters of invitation were sent out to all businesses to invite you to our AGM on Thursday 10th April.  We were disgusted to find that outside the committee only ten people turned up.  If this is the interest and appreciation the business people and general public show towards the voluntary time and effort we put in to organising the Festival of the Sea, St Patrick's Day Parade, Christmas Lights, Playground to name but a few, we cant really see the point in continuing the association.

Out of respect and appreciation to those who did turn up we have decided to hold another AGM on Tuesday 22 April and if the attendance does not improve we will dissolve the committee.

We would like to thank the following that took the time and effort to attend on the night and for their support and encouragement.
Gertie O'Sullivan, The Shell, Sean O'Sullivan, O Sullivan Victualler, Noel Harrington, Post Office, Joan Kelly, Harbour Lodge, Betty O'Shea, O'Sheas Bar, John O'Neill, Atlantic Signs, Noel Murphy, Old Bakery, John Paul Downey, J&P Downey Decorators, John Wiseman, Wiseman's Drapers, Maria O'Sullivan, Solicitor.

Committee
Seamus Harrington, Forge Nite Club, Mary O'Leary, Classy Image, Yvonne Power, Credit Union, John Harrington, Jack Patrick's Restaurant and Butcher Shop, Philip O'Donoghue, O'Donoghues Garage.

We will now hold our AGM on Tuesday 22nd April at 9:30pm in Cametringane Hotel.  We hope you will take the time and effort to be there!
