Last night at the Skipper's Bar in the Beara Bay, the Supple Family - presented very generous cheques to local charities. The Supple Family, personal friends to Rebecca Storm, were delighted when Rebecca Storm agreed to come to Castletownbere last November to perform free of charge for local voluntary organisations.  The Castletownbere ICA and the fundraising committee for the Castletownbere RNLI organised the running of the concert and the fruits of all their efforts was evident when cheques for 3,927.50 Euro each were passed on to the Castletownbere Lifeboat and St. Joseph's Hospital.  The concert was held in the Beara Bay Hotel, which owner Larry Lawless gave free of charge for the event.

Both organisations were thrilled with the presentations and expressed their gratitude to all concerned.
