NEW MFV  MENHADEN
The latest edition of the Castletownbere Fishing Fleet arrived into port at 5.30pm on Wed. 29th October to awaiting family, colleagues and numerous friends and wellwishers. The MFV Menhaden is owned by Larry Murphy and his sons Eric, Ryan and Wayne - all involved in the fishing industry.  Larry purchased his first pelagic trawler, also called Menhaden - 25 years ago.  This vessel was purchased in Denmark and will partner the new MFV Seaspray which arrived into port earlier in the month. Best wishes to all who sail and work on her and may all journeys be safe and reap generous rewards.
