Out of School Care for Castletownbere Children - Thanks to AIB

Friends Forever Childcare in Castletownbere Co.Cork has received a donation €7,500 from the AIB Better Ireland Programme towards the cost of purchasing equipment and materials to benefit the children attending their project.

A Community Playgroup and Day Nursery was set up in Castletownbere in 1990 to cater for the childcare needs of local families.  Friends Forever Childcare has extended its services to include an out-of-school care programme. This new venture is being set up to meet the identified need of parents.  The service aims to provide a quality affordable childcare programme, providing after school care and homework assistance.  Up to 15 children will benefit from the service on a daily basis.
