2005 Pioneer Dinner Dance Pics

The annual dinner-dance of the Beara P.T.A.A. Regional Council took place on Friday night 28th January in the Cametringane Hotel, Castletownbere. Once again the function was an outstanding success with a large crowd in attendance. The patrons were addressed by the president of the Kerry Diocesan Council, Michael Quinlan, and the chairman of the Beara Region, Brendan O’Driscoll. P. J. O’Leary acted as M.C. for the occasion. Following the meal, the following were presented with their certificates. Golden Jubilarians: Mrs. Margaret O’Reilly, Birmingham, formerly of Canalmore, Garnish; Miss Margaret O’Sullivan-Taylor, Glengarriff, formerly Rossmacowen; Noel O’Driscoll, Eyeries; Dick O’Driscoll, Eyeries, and Frank Lyons, Waterfall, Castletownbere. Silver Jubilarians: Mrs. Mary O’Sullivan, Lehanmore; Mrs. Marese O’Driscoll, Waterfall, Castletownbere; Brendan O’Driscoll (do.), and Stephen O’Sullivan, Lack, Eyeries.
