Community Games Under 12 Football

On Saturday, 21^st May the Beara Under 12 girls team travelled to Glanmire to take part in the County Community Games competition.  Beara were only notified of this game on the Thursday morning and as it was Holy Communion Day in Castletownbere, a number of girls were unavailable on the day.  However, those who travelled had a most enjoyable day and each girl received a medal from  Derek Connolly in a lovely presentation ceremony.

Well done to all the girls, namely Maeve Carney, Catherine Daly, Tracey Goggin, Tara Green, Aisling Harrington, Clianadh Harrington, Debbie Harrington, Sheona Harrington, Jessica Murphy, Stacey O’Neill, Rachel O’Shea, Meg O’Sullivan, Molly O’Sullivan, Ruth O’Sullivan, Laura Sheehan, Emily Sullivan and Heather Vandenberg.
